About us

Baylor Dance Company offers a unique university experience for dancers who want to continue their college training. As a student‑led organization supported by a team of elected officers, BDC partners with the Baylor dance minor to provide a director who upholds a professional, growth‑focused environment. The company trains primarily in Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip‑Hop, with an emphasis on strong Ballet and Jazz technique.

We challenge dancers to grow in their craft and surround them with a community defined by kindness, support, and a deep passion for dance.

While we encourage members to pursue the dance minor, it is not required and does not influence acceptance into the company.
